Nutmeg – Myristica fragrans
Nutmeg Essential Oil is one of the oils that should be used in low doses and with caution. It is a strong oil that is often used to revive fainting spells. Also, a powerful psychostimulant that is very invigorating and activates the mind. Furthermore, it is said to allow the user to have intense colour dreams.
One of the main uses of Nutmeg Essential Oil is believed to be for the digestive system helping ease poor digestion generally.
Nutmeg Essential Oil is a very warming oil that can bring relief to many muscular problems. A wonderful post sports oil, easing overworked muscles and fatigue from a good workout.

Nutmeg has no helpful properties for skincare however, it is a wonderful conditioning oil for the hair. Lastly, it blends beautifully with Clove and Orange to produce the traditional aroma of Christmas.
