Directions for use
Burners
Use 3-5 drops of oil depending on the size of the bowl. Put hot tap water into the bowl of the burner before adding the oil of your choice. Do not let the bowl dry out and clean thoroughly between use.
Potpourri
Had a few drops to potpourri to refresh the fragrance as needed.
Room Spray
Use 4 – 6 drops of oil per 300ml of bottled water used.
Use a plant sprayer kept especially for the purpose. Add the oils of your choice to warm water and shake well. Spray into the air avoiding any wood as it may mark. Electronic equipment may not enjoy this treatment either so keep away from televisions, computers etc.
Reed Diffuser
Keep your diffuser in a high-traffic, central area of your room or home for the best results. Pour your chosen oil and carrier oil into the reservoir. Unlike other diffusers, reed diffusers don’t allow you to swap out new scents easily so pick an oil that you like for long-term usage.
There’s no right amount of oil to pour into the diffuser. Add the reeds to the diffuser. Spread them out so they are separate and all point in different directions for a more even diffusion of oil. The oil will begin absorbing into the reeds and slowly filling your room with the aroma of the oil. The more reeds that you use, the stronger the aroma will be. Flip the reeds to refresh the oils and the aroma every week or so.
Candles
You can use just 1 type of oil, or you can mix-and-match difference oils to create a more unique fragrance. How much you add is up to you this is because the strength of the aroma is very personal, some people like an “in your face aroma” whereas others prefer a more subtle background aroma.
As a ruff guide we suggest around 6% -8% dilution of essential oil.
Please keep in mind that our Fragrances oils are sold primarily for use in candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, air fresheners, and room sprays. Unlike our Essential oils they have no therapeutic vales apart from there beautiful aromas.
