The amount of time I see Lavender Spike oil sold as a substitute for true Lavender is amazing. It is completely different and will never help you sleep or relax in any way. True Lavender (Lavandula officinalis) and Lavender Spike (Lavandula latifolia) are, from the same Lavandula family. But sprouts and cabbages are both from the brassica family and, well you see my point.
