Black Pepper – Piper nigrum
Black Pepper is a very mentally stimulating oil that helps the user to stay alert and maintain stamina. It is also said to be able to warm indifferent emotions. People often use the oil during life’s changing events, such as changing jobs and retiring.
Due to its ability to warm emotions, black pepper essential oil is considered to be an oil for lovers, as it helps both frigidity and impotence.
It is a warming oil for the muscles with both natural anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. Making it the perfect oil for sports enthusiasts. I’m not great at sports but I do use it in a bath after a good bit of digging in the garden.
Black Pepper is a very old spice, being one of the original to make it along the spice trail from the far east. At the time, both Greeks and Romans regarded the oil highly, and their athletes were among the first to recognise how helpful it was after physical exertion.
Its masculine aroma makes it a great oil to use when making soap or toiletries for men.
