Contraindications and precautions
Aloe Vera may cause redness, burning, and a stinging sensation in sensitive individuals. Please patch test before extensive use.
Seek medical advice before use if on digoxin as the use of Aloe Vera may lower potassium levels.
The oral use of Aloe Vera is not advised during pregnancy or in breastfeeding mothers as it may sometimes cause gastrointestinal distress in nursing infants.
Topical use of Aloe Vera may increase the absorption of steroid creams such as hydrocortisone.
For external use only. Can cause sensitivity in some people, patch test before use and discontinue if a reaction occurs. Do not use on unbroken skin. Keep out of reach of children.
