Lemon Essential Oil is a very stimulating to the mind and all the senses; it has the ability to clear thoughts and aids concentration. Although stimulating in nature it is also a very calming oil to use especially where there is conflict in the mind. Said to promote spiritual and psychic awareness helping to make a connection between spirit and soul.
Lemon Essential Oil makes a good oil to use in the sick room as it soothes when suffering from colds and flu as well as acting as a disinfectant reducing airborne bacteria.
Historically Lemon Essential Oil is used to brighten dull complexions. The Arab and Persian cultures both valued its properties highly. But it is also an excellent oil for hair care as it is said to strengthen hair growth giving hair a healthy shine.

Do not use undiluted on the skin or diluted on broken skin or abrasions. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use internally, unless directed by a licensed Aromatherapist or physician. Do not discharge into drains.
